We are a group of men and women with a common interest in creating items in wood..

We have a wide age range from teenage to.. as old as you like!

All sharing their skills, ideas and enthusiasm.

What...

We provide:-

A workshop with 10 workbench places and 3 lathes for wood carvers and turners of all skill levels. Tools and equipment ranging from a band saw, pillar drill, sander, scroll saws, carving chisels and hand tools.

Wood blanks to get you going.

All you need to bring is yourself. Beginners are welcome. We are unable to provide formal training but members are there to provide advice and assistance. Members can identify areas where more formal training is required and can team together to arrange such training from an external tutor.

Where...

We rent a building on the Old Turkey Farm off Barrows Lane, Sway.

When...

We run a number of daytime and evening sessions every week except for Christmas.

  • Tuesday 0900-1200
  • Tuesday 1815-2045
  • Wednesday 0930-1200
  • Thursday 1815-2045

Members can attend as many sessions as they like, subject to space. Additional sessions can be added if there is sufficient demand, as we rent the facility and have access at all time.

How much...

We charge £30 per month, paid by standing order, to attend as many sessions as you want. Includes tea and biscuits.

If you are interested, we welcome new members. Come and try us for a session free of charge to get to know us and start your own woodwork project.
